Adjust sts so that (with 5 dpns)
1- the last st and first 3 are on needle 1 (left angle line of peace sign)
2- the next 5 are on needle 2 (top line)
3- the next 4 on needle 3 (right angle line)
4- the next 4 on needle 4 (bottom up line)
(With 4 dpns, I held the needles 3 and 4 on the same needle. The rest in is stockinette so put sts wherever is easiest to manage)

--Following is all in stst--

needle 2- one row, break yarn
needle 1- 8 rows stst, 1 row *k2tog* break yarn
needle 3- 8 rows stst, 1 row *k2tog* break yarn
needle 4- 8 rows. On row 9, add sts from needle 3
Next row stst, adding sts from needle 1 at end
row: stst 1, 2tog, 2tog, stst 3
row: stst 1, 2tog, 2tog, stst 1
stst 2 rows
join & BO with needle 2

(I alternated sts from working needle and needle 2 onto one needle, then stst2tog/BO on WS)

Weave in ends and block (image is unblocked). Hang over doorknob, use as ornament, applique onto bag or clothing...
